Brassbanned will be live streaming Victoria Brass in concert this Sunday November 28th at 7:00pm.
After what felt like and endless Melbourne lockdown, team Brassbanned are infinitely excited to attend a real, in-person brass band performance for the first time in around 2 years!
Victoria Brass is a special projected co-ordinated by Dr. Matthew van Emmerick, featuring some of Victoria’s finest brass musicians. They will be joined by world renowned composer and organist Dr. Calvin Bowman. Sunday’s concert will be direct from St Andrew’s Church in Brighton, and also feature the Victoria Brass Youth Project in performance.
Victoria Brass is made up of some of the finest brass and percussion players from across the whole State of Victoria – the band is 40 members in size and is a traditional Brass Band formation. First formed in 2015 the band has undertaken various high profile concerts and projects premiering new Australasian repertoire and featuring the finest soloists in the brass fraternity.
