Brassbanned is in the lead up to the world’s most watched band competition – the Australian National Band Championships!
As part of our preparation we are catching up with as many community bands and musicians as we can. We have a ute-load of magical streaming equipment and a mission to drive from Melbourne to Brisbane.
We caught up with a leading light of the Victorian band scene, Mr Broden Ford – who will be conducting the Kew Band in the Open A Grade Brass section of the contest. Broden spoke about the bands preparation, performing in A grade – and shares his knowledge of all things street march!
